Alice F. Allbright

Alice F. Allbright, 78, of Chesapeake, Ohio, formerly of Gallia County, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the home of her daughter Joanna in Chesapeake.  Born on March 18, 1946 in Gallia County, Ohio, Alice was the daughter of the late George and Audrey Sims Brewer.

Alice was a homemaker and had worked as a secretary.  She enjoyed doing crafts and working in her flower beds.  Alice was a member of First Baptist Church of South Point, Ohio.  She is survived by one daughter, Joanna L. (Bob) Chapman of Chesapeake, Ohio; two sons, Jonathan (Mary) Allbright of Zanesville, Ohio and James E. (Amy) Allbright, Jr. of Mansfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Allison Cardwell, Kristin Cardwell, Tiffani Allbright, Alicia Wade, J.J. Allbright, Devon Allbright, and Jamie Allbright; great grandchildren, Branson Yates, Conner Allbright, Savannah Wade, Joe Wade, Jr., Cole Allbright, Wyatt Sims, Cami and Ella Norris, and Leauna Allbright; sister, Teresa (Melvin) Massie of Thurman, Ohio; brother, Jim (Edie) Brewer of Springfield, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Jim) Doss and Kay Allbright both of Gallipolis, Ohio; nephews, Melvin and Rickie; and niece, Sherry.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her former husband, James E. "Jim" Allbright, Sr.; grandson, Charles Timothy "Charlie" Allbright; and brother, Donald Brewer.

The funeral service for Alice will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating.  Her burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery.  Friends may call on Saturday prior to the funeral from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
