Alma Geraldine Mayse

Alma Geraldine Mayse, 87, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at her residence. Alma was born on February 27, 1935 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late John and Gladys Haner Casey. She had worked in housekeeping for the Libby Hotel and provided elder-care in the Gallipolis area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Mayse on March 20, 1999; five brothers, James, Robert, Ronald, Gary, and Tom Casey; four sisters, Grace Rudd, Nellie Casey, Sylvia Green, and Opal Irene Walker; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Alma is survived by five children, Larry (Sherry) Mayse, Brenda Mullins, Shirley (Gary) Eisnaugle, Tim (Sandy) Mayse and Connie (Lenville) Johnson all of Gallipolis, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren; and one sister, Clara Ramey of Columbus, Ohio. The funeral service for Alma will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Voss officiating. Her burial will follow in St. Nick Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home.
