Anna Mae Bowens

Anna Mae Bowens, 76, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday February 2, 2014 at the Arbors at Gallipolis. Anna Mae was born on July 7, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Andrew and Susan Hajzak Hudick. She had worked at Davis Laundry in Cleveland. Anna Mae was married to Milford S. Bowens, Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2001. Surviving are three sons Carl E. Bowens, Milford (Edna) Bowens, Jr., and Danny (Tiffany) Bowens, all of Gallipolis, grandchildren Walter (Kayla), Matthew (Elizabeth), and Jonathan, great grandchildren Ethan, Miles, Aden, Jenson, Savannah and Cory, an Aunt Pauline Hajzak of Palmer, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Butch Hudick and a sister Marjorie Williams. Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of the services on Thursday at Willis Funeral Home.
