Anthony D. "Tony" Angelo

Anthony D. "Tony" Angelo, 64, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at his residence. Tony was born on January 16, 1961 in Mason County, West Virginia, son of the late Doris Emogene Holley Jeffers and Anthony Angelo. Tony was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 27, DAV Chapter 141, and AMVET Post 23. He is survived by his children, Michelle, Melissa, and Michael; brothers, Keith (Lisa) Jeffers of Gallipolis, Richard (Peggy) Ward of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia, and Bill (Marilyn) Ward of Gallipolis; and numerous extended family members who include a special niece, Monica Day Markin of Crown City. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joseph; a sister, Monica Day; and a brother, Joe Russell "Rusty" Jeffers. The funeral service for Tony will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Young officiating. His burial will follow in St. Nick Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Military honors will be given at the graveside by Vinton American Legion Post 161.
