Arthur E. Jeffers

Arthur E. Jeffers, 82, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on October 22, 1938 in Nitro, West Virginia, Arthur was the son of the late Chester Arthur and Ruth E. Lyons Jeffers. Arthur was a retired U.S. Marine; he was a member of the Marine League and American Legion #27. Arthur is survived by his children, Deborah (David) Feagley of Newburgh, Indiana, Ramona Jean Lewis of Evansville, Indiana, Patricia (William) Bishop of Evansville, Indiana, and Brian (Janet) Jeffers of Logan, Ohio; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Frank Jeffers and sister, Arlene Nestor. The funeral service for Arthur will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Northup officiating.
