Attie Foley, 91, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Abbyshire Place. She was born November 18, 1921 in Mallie, Kentucky, daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Dina Martin Bentley. Attie married Millard M. Foley and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2007. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Gallipolis, Ohio. Attie was a Christian wife, mother and homemaker. Surviving are her six children, Jean (Tom ) Williams of Georgetown, Kentucky, James Hammonds of Gallipolis, William Bill Foley of Columbus, Ohio, John (Tonya) Foley of Bidwell, Jennie Foley of Gallipolis, Dina (Mike) Dyer of Gallipolis; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Foley of Gallipolis; 14 grandchildren, Tom Deacon Hammonds, Samuel Foley, Nikki Foley, Nathan Stanley, Scott Foley, John Nicinsky, Kelly Rachel Nicholson, Valerie Sewell, Vera McGill, Codie Hall, Charlee Eblin, Blade Eblin, Wesley Jackson, and Sean Jackson; three great grandchildren; special great granddaughter, Anna Sewell; two sisters, Della Goodman of Hindman, Kentucky and Maquies Bentley of Lexington, Kentucky; one brother, Venson Bentley of Mallie, Kentucky. In addition to her parents and husband, Millard Foley, Attie was preceded in death by a son, James Dee Foley, a daughter, Kim Jackson, a daughter-in-law, Linda Hammonds, a granddaughter, Erin Foley, a grandson, Mark Foley, brother and sisters, Hattie Hall, Mattie Crase, Edna Frye, Fannie Parks, and Junior Bentley. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Bishop Al Sines and Kenneth Vickers officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Blade Eblin, Codie Hall, Mike Dyer, John Foley, Bill Foley, and Wesley Jackson.
