Audrey Mae Angel Saunders

Audrey Mae Angel Saunders, 69, of Crown City, passed peacefully at home January 4, 2012. She was born September 23, 1942 to Brady and Belva Martin Angel. She is survived by the love of her life, Lowen Cline Saunders, with whom she was married to for nearly fifty years; four children, Angela (Brian) Wamsley of Westerville, Ohio, Renee (Keith) Bartimus of Crown City, Ohio, Brad (Shannon) Saunders of Gallipolis, Ohio and Alex (Michelle) Saunders of Huntington, West Virginia; six grandchildren, Samantha (Shaun) Parlegreco, Levi Bartimus, Olivia and Mason Wamsley, Sidney and Miranda Saunders. She is from a family of sixteen children, and is preceded in death by brothers Donald Angel, James Angel, Ralph Angel, Bill Angell and Eugene Angel. She is survived by sisters and brothers, Betty Crouse of Gallipolis, Ohio, Josephine (Irwin) Gibson of Coshocton, Ohio, Irene (Basil) Holley of Bidwell, Ohio, Dorothy (Donald) Perkins of Gallipolis, Ohio, Barb Chambers (friend George Haubeil) of Sarasota, Florida, Shirley (Lin) Angel of Crown City, Ohio, Lucy (Pat) Westover of Streetman, Texas, Brady Junior (Rosemary) Angel of Crown City, Ohio, Roger (Vickie) Angel of Crown City, Ohio and Pauline (Mike) Jeffers of Westerville, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Audrey Angel of Gallipolis, Ohio, Gladys Angel of Crown City, Ohio and Juanita Angell of Crown City, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was a wife and mother that most could only dream of having. Her smile, spirit, and compassion for others will never be forgotten. The family would like to express their gratitude for those who gave so much of themselves and offered their support. Services will 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sanders #2 Cemetery, Lawrence County, Ohio.
