Barbara J. Taylor

Barbara J. Taylor, 77, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 at her residence. Born on April 6, 1943 in Wheeling, West Virginia, Barbara was the daughter of the late Melvin and Edna Mae Givens Coen. Barbara married Robert R. Taylor, who survives her in Gallipolis; they were married for 59 years. She graduated from Kyger Creek High School. Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert R. Taylor of Gallipolis; daughters, Lori (Rick) Clifton of Gallipolis and Lisa (Mick) Gilbert of Vinton; son, Jeff (Kelly) Taylor of Rutland; grandsons, Jakob Gilbert and Bryce Clifton; and special friend, Addison Dewitt. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a son, Robert Russell “Rusty” Taylor. A Graveside Service for Barbara will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Gravel Hill Cemetery with Pastor Rick Barcus officiating.
