Betty Jane France Gray, 79, of Gallipolis passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born on September 21, 1928 in Yakima, WA to the late Robert and Aleda Eggon France. Betty served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1954 and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #23 in Pt. Pleasant, WV. She is survived by her husband John F. Gray of Gallipolis and by four children, John M. Denise Gray of Waverly, OH, Carol Andy O'Connell of Wilmington, OH, Jeff Jeanette Gray of Colorado, and Susan K. Jones of Pt. Pleasant, WV; two grandchildren Kenny and Katie Gray of Colorado; two brothers, Bruce Betty France and Robert J. Phylis France; and a sister-in-law Joanne France all of Wisconsin. She was preceded by one brother Donald 'Doc' France and by her parents. Services will be 2 pm Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor James Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from noon until the time of the services at Willis Funeral Home.
