Beverly L. Wilson

Beverly L. Wilson, 83, of Gallipolis, Ohio peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 2, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, at Adena Health System in Chillicothe, Ohio. Born on November 6, 1937 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Beverly was the daughter of the late Delmas D. and Phyllis F. Houck Mink. On December 27, 1956, Beverly married William Hobart Wilson, Jr., who survives her in Gallipolis. Beverly graduated from Gallia Academy High School Class of 1956 and retired from the Ohio BMV. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Beverly loved cooking. Beverly is survived by her husband, William Hobart Wilson, Jr. of Gallipolis; daughter, Brenda Wilson of Bidwell; son, Keith (Katrina) Wilson of Gallipolis; grandsons, Jeremy (Madelynn) Wilson and Nicholas Wilson; great grandson, Wesley Allen Wilson; sister, Barbara Sisson of Gallipolis; niece, Michelle (John) Meeks; and nephews, Michael (Joey) Miller and Scott (Jennifer) Mink. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by a son, Stephen L. Wilson; sisters, Joyce Mink and Bonita Mink; brother, James T. Mink; sister-in-law, Sheila Mink; and nephew, David Miller. The funeral service for Beverly will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Miller, John Meeks, Nicholas Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Scott Mink, and Chris Gordon. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
