Billy G. Mcculty

Billy G. McCulty, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Arbors at Gallipolis. He was born March 3, 1935 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Theodore “Ted” and Marie Denney McCulty. He married Judith A. Erwin and she survives him. He was a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local #317 and a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church, attended Trinity Gospel Mission, a member of Centerville Masonic Lodge #371, Gallipolis Shrine Club and the Elks Lodge #107. Surviving are his wife, Judith McCulty of Gallipolis; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jamie Saunders of Gallipolis; a son, Billy G. McCulty II of Gallipolis; two grandsons, Owen and Jeb Saunders; two brothers, Wayne (Jeannie) McCulty of Florida and Robert Gene (Jane) McCulty of Gallipolis; a sister, Lois Stout of Bidwell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Melonie Ann McCulty. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hersman officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. There will be an Elks Service on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. conducted by members of Lodge #107. Pallbearers will be Stephen Stout, Richard McCulty, Bob McCulty, John Denney, Chuck Denney, Jay Stout, and Steve Stout.
