Bryan C. Kirby

Bryan C. Kirby, 43, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He was born on January 1, 1968 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of Frank Kirby Sr. of Gallipolis and Joann Chick Wheeler, of Dothan, Alabama. Bryan was married to Jessica Elkins on November 18, 2006 and she survives him. He was a 1987 graduate of North Gallia High School. He had been employed at E and S Lumber, Patriot, Ohio as a truck driver. Bryan enjoyed 4 wheeling, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Jessica Kirby of Gallipolis; a son, Devin Kirby of Gallipolis; three stepchildren, Alicia Davies of Dayton, Desiree Lewis of Oak Hill, and Adam Lewis of Patriot; three grandchildren, Trenten Nida, Colton Davies and Taylin Davies; a brother Frank Kirby Jr. of Pt. Pleasant, WV; grandmother, Sally Kirby of Gallipolis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Bryan was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and John Kirby. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Jack McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Kirby Family Cemetery.
