Carey A. Stanley

Carey A. Stanley, 63, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 in Gallipolis, Ohio. Born on May 14, 1956 in Crown City, Ohio, Carey was the son of the late Clinton E. Stanley and Doris Ann Caldwell Porter, who survives him in Gallipolis. Carey was veteran of the United States Marines Corps and a farm laborer. Carey is survived by his sons, Clinton E. Stanley and Christopher Stanley; mother, Doris Ann Porter of Gallipolis; sister, Nora (Isaac) Hively of Gallipolis; longtime companion, Gwytha Simms of Gallipolis, Ohio; stepsons, Mark Simms and Jamie Simms; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Carey was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Stanley and his daughter, Brandy Stanley. In accordance with Carey’s wishes, there will be no services.
