Carrel Wayne “Jack” Gladman, 88, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Holzer Medical Center.
Born on June 2, 1934 in Northup, Ohio, Jack was the son of the late Clarence and Lillian Florence Cremeens Gladman. On June 6, 1987, Jack married Diana Ours Stapleton at Good News Baptist Church in Gallipolis; she survives him in Crown City. Jack was a farmer who lived in Gallia County his entire life. He was a member of Kings Chapel Church.
Jack is survived by his wife, Diana Gladman of Crown City; sister, Shirley Wallace of Gallipolis; nephew, Chad (Rachael) Wallace of Vinton, Ohio; great niece and great nephew, Jenna and Jacob Wallace; stepchildren, Clifford (Jody) Stapleton of Gallipolis and Diana (Daniel) Lawrence of Oak Hill, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Leland (Becky) Ours of Crown City, Tony (Missy) Ours of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Kerry (Kelly) Ours of Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by brother, Darrell Ray Gladman; brother and sister-in-law, Garrel Eugene (Janie) Gladman; sister, Aldeth Arlene Gladman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Loueva Ours; and brother-in-law, Gary E. Wallace.
The funeral service for Jack will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Clyde Ferrell and Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will be in Houck Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the funeral Monday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
