Carroll Cline Caldwell

Carroll Cline Caldwell, 76, of Bidwell, went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 12, 2007 at his residence. He was born March 14, 1931 in Gallia County to the late William W. and Fannie Bell Wolfe Caldwell. He married Adell Plymale on October 19, 1952 and she survives him. He was a farmer and owner of C C Caldwell Trucking, Inc. and was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Adell P. Caldwell of Bidwell; three sons and one daughter, Charles Christopher Ginger Caldwell, Clifford Carlos Brenda Caldwell, Clayton Curtis Debbie Caldwell and Charla Cathleen Caldwell, all of Gallipolis; ten grandchildren, Christy Matt Randles, Cari Cory Perroud, Cayla Ryan Watson, Carrie Jimmy Wiseman, Cody, Matthew, Casee, Colby, Caitlin and Colton Caldwell; five great grandchildren, Austin and Aubrei Perroud, Collin Watson, Addison Wiseman and Madisyn Caldwell; two sisters, Ruth Trout of Dayton and Marguerite Cochran of Columbus. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are a son, Cline Caldwell, three sisters, Beatrice White, Marieta Baker, Irene Baker, two brothers, Paris Young and Stanford Young. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2007 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Dean Osborne, John North, Dennis Beman, John Thompson, Dwight Thompson and Roy Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Homer Johnson, Ted Hanna, Roger Hood, Robert Jackson and Bill Bush. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carroll’s memory to the building fund at First Baptist Church in Gallipolis.
