Carroll Lee Ruff

Carroll Lee Ruff, 68, of Patriot, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 5, 1956 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Robert L. Ruff and Sue Wiseman Ruff who survives him in Thurman.

Carroll Lee was a retired owner/operator of Ruff Trucking and a life member of the NRA. He was involved in agriculture and loved being around his grandchildren. Carroll was a member of the Centerville Masonic Lodge #371.

Carroll Lee was married to Cheryl Lynn Green Ruff, and she survives him in Patriot. He is also survived by his daughter, Cassidy (Robert) Massie of Thurman, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kyle and Cortney Massie; his mother, Sue Wiseman Ruff of Thurman; siblings, Bob (Beth) Ruff of Patriot, Larry Ruff (Tracy) of Oak Hill, Ohio, Mary Lynne (Scott) Jones of Thurman, and Josh Ruff of Dublin, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and extended family members.

In addition to his father, Carroll Lee was preceded in death by his daughter, Cortney Lynn Ruff.

The funeral service for Carroll Lee will be held at noon on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Jane Ann Miller officiating. His burial will follow in Hill Cemetery in Thurman, Ohio. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A Masonic service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the conclusion of the visitation by Centerville Masonic Lodge #371.
