Cathy Y. Martin

Cathy Y. Martin, 68, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away July 18, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington. She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio to James and Viola Slone on March 3, 1953. In addition to her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by Father and Mother In Law Paul and Alma Martin and a brother Joe Slone. Cathy was a member of Mercerville Missionary Baptist Church and attended Providence Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Buckeye Polled Herford Association. Cathy is survived by her husband Dean Martin of Crown City; a son, Kevin (Laura) Martin also of Crown City; a daughter, Mary Beth (Jesse) Smith of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Hunter Dean Martin, Samantha Jane Martin, Kaylee Victoria Furrow; and brother James “Jim” (Rebecca) Slone of Oak Hill. The funeral for Cathy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Ray Whitmer and Ralph Workman officiating. Her burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
