Charles Everett 'Buck' Paxton, 71, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 25, 1938 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Lloyd Brenton Paxton and Hannah Mae Siders Hazelbaker Paxton. Charles was married to Barbara Sue Mullins Paxton and she survives him. Charles was an Air Force veteran. He was a business owner of restaurants, junk yards and a trucking company. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Sue Paxton of Gallipolis; a daughter, Angel Mae Claude Hudman of Gallipolis; five grandchildren, Chris Stacey Hudman, Amy Jamie Hawley, Stephanie David Killingsworth, Rachel Steven Hoyt, Matthew Holly Hudman and eleven great grandchildren, Kalynn, Trent, Jagger, Chesney, Allison, Natalie, Taylor, Emily, Zachary, Mikayla, and Ethan Everett. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Anne-Marie, three sons Grant, Charlie and Hardie, one sister Mary Clonch and two brothers Harold B. Hazelbaker and Fred Paxton. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2010 at Mina Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating.
