Ray was born on November 12, 1971 in Gallipolis, Ohio son of the late Robert C. Stewart and Nancy Cox Stewart whom survives in Gallipolis. He was a 1991 Kyger Creek High School graduate and enjoyed deer hunting. Ray is survived by his wife Paula Cox Stewart whom married on October 9, 2004 in Gallipolis and she survives in Bidwell. Also surviving are two sons Rikki Johnson and Eric Cox both of Bidwell, his mother Nancy Stewart of Gallipolis, a brother Bob (Paula Stanley) Stewart of Rutland, and a sister Brenda (Willard) Laudermilt of Gallipolis, his paternal grandmother Edna Stewart of Pomeroy, Ohio; an aunt Betty Bufkin of Gallipolis, two uncles Ray (Charity) Cox of Cheshire and Marcus Cox of Gallipolis and a host of other relatives and friends. Ray was preceded in death by a son Charles R. \"R.J.\" Stewart on July 2, 2011, his father Robert C. Stewart, grandparents Charles Stewart, Joseph and Marie Cox. Services will be 1 pm Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Willis Funeral Home with burial following in Poplar Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at Willis Funeral Home Tuesday September 6, 2011 from 6 - 8 pm at Willis Funeral Home.
