Charles J. Roberts

Charles J. Roberts, 73, of Patriot, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the OSU Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born September 22, 1937 in West Virginia, son of the late Earl and Sadie Christmas Pelfrey Roberts. He was a retired electrician. Surviving are his children, Chuck Roberts of Tiro, Ohio, Lila Rose Neidermeyer of Arizona, Darlene (Doug) Tawney of Gallipolis, Alan Roberts and Bryan Roberts of Patriot and Heather Roberts, of Gallipolis; 12 grandchildren, Skyla, Savannah, Zach and Remington Roberts, David Fleeup, Cody Russell, Ashley and Dustin Roberts, Cole and Morgan Tawney and MaKayla Roberts; two brothers, Frank Roberts of Bidwell and Rex (Sue) Roberts of Kerr; three sisters, Helen Copeland, of Abbeville, Alabama, Janie Merry of Bidwell, and Catherine Friend of Eustis, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Sadie Roberts, two daughters, Deborah Sue Debbie Fleeup and Amanda Roberts, his ex-wife and mother of 4 of his children, Mildred Roberts and two brothers, Melvin and Max Roberts.
