Charles A. Roush, 89, of Cheshire, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Holzer Senior Care. He was born on January 6, 1919 in Meigs County, Ohio, son of the late Sterlie and Ora Baker Roush. He had been a furnace tender for Federal Mogul. Charles was a member of Siloam 456 Masonic Lodge, Cheshire, Ohio and a member of Cheshire Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, John Debbie Roush of Bidwell; a son-in-law, George Kent of Cheshire; five grandchildren, Kim Tim Holmes, Karen Edgar, William 'Buck' Teresa Reynolds, Robert 'Bobby' Roush, and Staci Jo Ross McPherson; eight great grandchildren, Monica Helms, Josh Helms, Will Edgar, Isiah Reynolds, Gracelyn Reynolds, Madison Holmes, Mitchell Holmes, Wyatt McPherson; one great great grandchild, Baylee Helms; one sister, Delma Roush of Gallipolis; and one sister-in-law Gertrude Hysell of Cheshire. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy A. Scott Roush in 1999, a stepdaughter, Donna Reynolds Kent, and a sister, Thelma Shaver. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Gravel Hill Cemetery with Pastor Steve Little officiating.
