Charles "Charlie" Sexton

Charles “Charlie” Sexton, 61, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Born on April 23, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois, Charlie was the son of Yvonne Sexton, who survives him in Rutland, Ohio. Charlie married Cathy Barker Sexton, who survives him in Bidwell. He worked for Bellisio’s in Jackson, Ohio. Charlie was a U.S. Army veteran, trained as a helicopter mechanic. He was a member of Rodney Pike Church of God. Charlie loved music, video games and board games, movies, and his woman. Charlie is survived by his wife, Cathy Sexton of Bidwell; mother, Yvonne Sexton of Rutland, Ohio; and brother, Rod (Brenda) Sexton of Gallipolis. Charlie was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Sexton and grandparents, Geraldine and Chester Sexton. The funeral service for Charlie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Bynum officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
