Charlotte Jeanne Dray

Charlotte Jeanne Dray, 70, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Holzer Senior Care Center. She was born September 4, 1943 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late James Clifton “J.C.” and Virginia Steele Burke. Jeanne was married to Jack Dray and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center and was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Vance (Darla) Dray and her daughter, Karen (Aaron) Henson, both of Gallipolis; a sister, Kathi Nagy of Gallipolis; five grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) Carpenter, Chris Henson, Vanessa Henson, Kyle Dray and Christine Dray; and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Jack, Jeanne was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Ruby Dray and a sister Patricia Ramsayer. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Mina Chapel Cemetery.
