Connie R. Brannen

Connie R. Brannen, 70, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Born on August 21, 1951 in Gallia County, Ohio, Connie was the daughter of the late Alfred Lee “Buck” and Ruth Geraldine Waugh Warren. On July 10, 1971, Connie married Keith A. Brannen, who preceded her in death on February 5, 2018. Connie was a graduate of Hannan Trace High School, member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, and treasurer of Mt. Zion Cemetery. Connie is survived by her sons, Michael (Carla) Brannen of Crown City, Wayne “Dude” Brannen of Crown City, and Robert Brannen of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Keshia Brannen, Brady (Dani) Brannen, M. Kyle (Courtney) Woodyard, Chase Brannen, Kyle Brannen, and Kasey Brannen; twelve great grandchildren; siblings, Karen Blankenship, Cheryl Dray, Gerald Warren, Roger Warren, and Wayne Warren; and lifetime friend, Brenda Sims. In addition to her parents and husband Keith, Connie was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Warren and Terry Warren. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Crown City.
