Dalberta C. Cox

Dalberta C. Cox, 46, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Ohio State University Wexner Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Dalberta was born on September 13, 1977 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Dale Cox and Carol Swindler Cox who survives.

Dalberta had worked as a waitress at Bob Evans and had been an LPN.  She was currently employed by Super 8 Motel in the housekeeping department.  Dalberta enjoyed her dogs and her pet tarantulas.   In addition to her mother Carol, Dalberta is survived by two sons, Trenton Briggs and Justin Briggs both of Gallipolis; two grandchildren, Cooper Briggs and Josie Briggs; and several aunts, uncle, and cousins.  Dalberta has given to others the gift of life by being an organ and tissue donor.

A cremation burial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Mina Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Timmy Halley officiating.
