Dana Matthew Shaw

Dana Matthew Shaw, 62, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born on March 29, 1961 in Barberton, Ohio, Dana was the son of the late Laylin Leon Shaw and Lola Louise Sheets Shaw.  Dana had worked as a powder coater for Falholt Corporation in Akron, Ohio and had attended Akron Baptist Temple. He enjoyed reading, history (especially military history), and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Dana is survived by his children, Rachael Shaw (Michael) of Navarre, Ohio and Tyler Shaw of Green, Ohio; two granddaughters, Reaghan and Everley; mother, Louise Shaw of Crown City; brothers, Terry Shaw of Barberton, Ohio and Jeffrey Shaw of Crown City, Ohio; and nephew, Daniel Riley Shaw.

A Graveside Service will be held for Dana at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Ridgelawn Cemetery with Pastor Richard Unroe officiating.
