Danny Hall

Danny Hall, 74, of Patriot, Ohio passed away on Friday April 30, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center. Danny was born on September 25, 1946, in Delbarton, West Virginia; he was the son of the late Ballard and Sinda Hall. Danny was a retired coal miner at the Meigs Mine #31. He was a member of the Gallipolis Elks Lodge #107 and the UMWA Local #1890. He enjoyed farming, his Tennessee Walkers, and spending time with his family, especially his grand kids and his great grand kids. Danny is survived by his son, Matthew S. (Karen Deel) Hall of Gallipolis; daughter, Teresa Steinbeck of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Brittany (Drew) Beman, Breanna (Nolan) Lambert, Brett (Morgan) Steinbeck, Michaela Hall, and Mackenzie (Jacob Gilmore) Hall; great grandchildren, Creedence and Rozalyn Beman and Garrett and Austin Lambert; former wife and special friend, Jackalene Lewis; sister, Hulda Hendrick; brothers, Luther Hall and Ben (Kathleen) Hall; and sister-in-law, Margaret Hall Smith, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ralph Steinbeck; four brothers; three sisters; and a sister-in-law. The funeral service for Danny will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
