David Copeland Fogg, 70, of Interlachen, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at his residence following an extended illness. David was born in Framington, Massachusetts. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, having served in the Army and was medically discharged in 1974. He was a member of the American Legion Post 293 and was a former member of the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corps in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He enjoyed fishing. David was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Howe Fogg, Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Avery Fogg; and one brother, Peter Avery Fogg, Sr. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Dixie L. Brenizer Fogg of Florida; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sheridan Gayl and David Clagg of Gallipolis; Diane Elizabeth and Cope Reynolds of New Mexico and Julie Clair and Chris Estep of Georgia; one brother, Jay Fogg, a sister-in-law, Linda Gail Fogg, one nephew, Peter Avery Fogg, Jr. one niece, Katherine Cutler Fogg, all of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Haven Hospice for its loving care and to VFD 16-17 for its assistance. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Centenary Cemetery. Willis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
