David L. Ramey

David L. Ramey, 67, of Rio Grande, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at his residence. David was born on January 11, 1955 in Mason County, West Virginia, son of the late Robert Ramey and Velma Calhoun Ramey who survives him. David was a retired truck driver and enjoyed woodworking and repairing things.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife, Peggy Hoopes Ramey of Rio Grande; one son, Josh Ramey and fiance Jennifer Harrison of Bidwell, Ohio; four grandchildren, Taylor, Josie, McKenna, and Daxtyn; three sisters, Becky Bennett of Vinton, Ohio, Laura (Darrell) Baker of Patriot, Ohio, and Melinda Norman of Vinton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby.

The funeral service for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. His burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Rio Grande. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
