David T. Rustemeyer, 42, of Patriot, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at his residence. David born on August 5, 1965 in Sistersville, WV; the son of the late Thomas Edwin Rustemeyer and Elsie Kehrer Rustemeyer Cline who survives. David was an Iron Worker, being a member of local 172 in Columbus, Ohio; a member of the New Life Lutheran Church, and an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a 1983 graduate of Sistersville High School and had an apprentice degree in ship building. He was a graduate of West Virginia State having an Associates Degree in Applied Science. David is survived by his wife Jill Golden Rustemeyer whom he married on February 5, 1994 in Gallipolis, a daughter Sara Rustemeyer and a step daughter Chelsea Stowers both at home; his mother and step father Elsie and Dave Cline of Sistersville, WV; two brothers Greg Rustemeyer of Columbus, Ohio, and Clay Deanna Rustemeyer of St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters Pam Mike Makie of Belmont, WV and Patsy Tom Gist of Friendly, WV, and many nieces and nephews Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday August 6, 2008 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Nebo Cemetery. Friends may call at Willis Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm. Pallbearers will be Jim Blair, Dillon Rustemeyer, Tommy Rustemeyer, Tommy Buchannon, Richard Long, and Rowdy Evans. Honorary Pallbearer will be Mike Williams.
