David Pat Southard

David 'Pat' Southard, 63, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Sterling House of Springfield. He was born June 1, 1945 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Clyde and Edrodean Crawford Southard. Pat was a retired Clark County Vocational School teacher. He was a member of Ohio Retired Teachers Association. Surviving are one brother, Michael Sherry Southard of London, Ohio and a sister, Sheila Roger Saunders of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Ward officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Hope Mausoleum, Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service. A memorial service for Pat will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:00 am. at the Sterling House of Springfield, 3270 Middle Urbana Rd., Springfield.
