David P. Winston

David P. Winston, 72, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. He was born December 20, 1940 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Elmar and Mary Helen Shaver Winston. David was a Rio Grande High School graduate. He retired from Westinghouse Corporation and was a member of Broadman Baptist Church. Surviving are his twin sister, Diana Yovan of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Gladys Craddolph and Glenna Figgins, both of Gallipolis, Ohio, Betty Meacham of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Gerold Winston of Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Williams, brothers, Clarence, Warren, Harold, John and Bob Winston. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
