Delores F. Spencer

Delores F. Spencer, 82, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Holzer Medical Center on September 20, 2024 after a brief battle with melanoma.  She was born the daughter of Willis and Hattie Gardner Nibert on November 30, 1941 in Gallipolis, Ohio.  She was married to Adrian G. "Abe" Spencer for 54 years until he preceded her in death in 2013.  Delores spent her career as a secretary/bookkeeper for Bob and Jewel Evans for 56 years.  She will be remembered for her many random acts of kindness, generosity, selflessness, and her unwavering faith in God.

Delores is survived by three children, Connie Spencer Gillispie, Gary Spencer, and Amy (Chip) Spencer Blair; granddaughters, Amanda Gillispie, Erika Gillispie, Sara Gillispie, Megan (Justice) Spencer Williams, and Shaylin Spencer; a grandson, Gary (Tristin) Spencer, II; great grandsons, Abel Malone, Christopher Parsons, Dylan Lyall, Adrian Spencer, and Rowan Spencer; and great great granddaughter, Laikyn Parsons.

A Memorial Service for Delores will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
