Donald R. "Donnie" Moore

Donald R. “Donnie” Moore, 71, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Born on November 12, 1953 in Gallia County, Ohio, Donnie was the son of the late Clemence Moore and the late Louise Goody Ballinger.  Donnie married Ida Casto Moore, who survives him in Crown City.  He was a retired dairy farmer who enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Ida Ann Moore of Crown City; daughter, Elizabeth (Keith) Lamm of Middleport, Ohio; stepsons, Timothy Thomas and James Thomas both of Gallipolis, Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Ella Mae Henry and Carol Buttrick both of Gallipolis; and sister-in-law Helen (Bill) Cremeans of Cheshire, Ohio.  In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Moore.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, no services will be held.
