Donald Ray Osborne

Donald Ray Osborne, 79, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Holzer Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1934 in Canton, Ohio, son of the late Gilbert and Irene Clifford Osborne. Donald married Joyce Allen Osborne and she preceded him in death in August, 2012. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from AEP Gavin Plant. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Surviving are his children, Ruth Ann (Tim) Boggs, Angela Michele Kane, Kenneth George Miller, and Keith Ray (Michelle) Miller; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (Gwen) Osborne; and a brother-in-law Leslie Miles Allen. In addition to his parents and his wife Joyce, Donald was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Sue Aldridge, a brother James Osborne, and two sisters, Doris Beasley and Phyllis Kirk. Services will be 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Pinson and Pastor Bob Wiseman officiating. There will be a military flag presentation prior to the service. Friends may call from 6:00-7:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park , Wheelersburg, Ohio at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, committal service will be in the chapel.
