Donald L. Ratcliff Sr., 54, of Bidwell, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 20, 1955 in Cabell County, West Virginia, son of the late Squire Ratcliff and Betty White, who survives him. He was a retired construction worker. Donald attended Morgan Center Holiness Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his companion, Phyllis Cochran Ratcliff of Bidwell; two sons, Donald L. Ratcliff Jr. and Davey Woodyard, both of Crown City; three daughters, Lola Chris Wolf and Bonnie Ronnie Jr. Phillips, both of Gallipolis, and Kasi Wells of Oak Hill; two stepdaughters, Samantha Mayes and Selina Kemper, both of Vinton; eleven grandchildren; his mother, Betty White of Crown City; four brothers, Larry Bev Ratcliff, Jim Ratcliff, Gary LaDawna Ratcliff and Irvin Missy White Jr. and four sisters, Lisa Norman Brumfield, Debbie White, Sally White and Paula White, all of Lawrence County, Ohio. Donald was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Sandy Powell. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Morgan Center Holiness Church with Rev. Ted Russell officiating.
