Donna Jean Brewer

Donna Jean Gilman Brewer, 73, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at her residence. Born on March 23, 1947 in Williamson, West Virginia, Donna was the daughter of the late Howard and Minnie Mullins Gilman. Donna was married to John Henry Brewer, Sr., who preceded her in death. Donna was a homemaker; she loved working in her flower beds and loved nature. Donna is survived by her five children, John H. (Sandra) Brewer, Jr. of Gallipolis, Howard L. Brewer of Kanauga, Ohio, Lora N. Quinn of Charleston, West Virginia, Teressa L. (Larry) Parsons of Langsville, Ohio, and Sharon R. Brewer of Columbus; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Grover Howard (Wanda) Gilman of Romney, West Virginia and Lovell (Barbara) Gilman of Tolbert, Tennessee; three sisters, Delores (Terry) Mullins of North Carolina,, Sharon Rose (Jerry) Gordon of North Carolina, and Felicia Gilman of Laurel Creek, West Virginia. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amber Nichol Brewer and two brothers, Bernard Lee Gilman and Danny Ray Gilman. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Centenary Cemetery.
