Doris D. Copley

Doris D. Copley, 70, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2008 at her son's residence. She was born December 5, 1937 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Foster and Ruth Ruddleston Miller. Doris was a caregiver to the elderly. She enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, and watching TV crime shows. Surviving are her two sons, Keith Jenny Copley of Gallipolis and James E. Linda Copley of Thurman; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry F. Miller of Gallipolis and Roger Miller of Columbus; and two sisters, Judy Tom Owens of Avon, IN and Brenda Steve Whittaker of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Alan Miller, Ivan Miller and David Miller, in infancy. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Ron L. Bynum officiating. Burial will follow in Addison Reynolds Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday.
