Doris "Roberta" Fisher

Doris “Roberta” Fisher, 91, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on August 14, 1929 in Logan, West Virginia, Roberta was the daughter of the late Heber and Opal Butcher Fellure. On June 18, 1947, Roberta married Richard A. Fisher in Catlettsburg, Kentucky; Richard preceded her in death in 1998. Roberta was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, a long-time 4-H advisor, and a former member of Farm Bureau of Gallia County. Roberta is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly L. and Charles Mundy of Columbus, Ohio, Judy K. and Allen Dodrill of Gallipolis, and Carol S. and Jack Quimby, Jr. of Gallipolis; son and daughter-in-law, Richard K. and Anita Fisher of Gallipolis; nine grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and half-brother, Marty Fellure. A private funeral will be held for Roberta at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Lusher officiating; burial will follow at Centenary Cemetery. Roberta’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
