Dorothy Broyles, 84, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2007 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born on January 16, 1923 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late F. Dale and Viola Rothgeb Allensworth. Dorothy was married to Harold J. Broyles on May 4, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 2004. She was the former owner operator of Wagon Wheel Antiques, retired from the National Executive Housekeeper Association, and was a receptionist/secretary. Dorothy was a member of Elizabeth Chapel, the American Legion Auxiliary, Emblem Club #199 of Gallipolis, Gallia County Historical Society and Gallia County Animal Welfare League. She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Dave Nolan Wheeler of Gallipolis; a son, Richard Barbara Weaver Broyles of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Tonya Ryan Glover Clark and Tiffany Gordon Keyser Biland; two great grandchildren, Jaela and Natalee Clark; one sister, Roberta Oliver Kail of Cheshire; and two special pet cats, Ginger and Tabby. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Broyles in 2004, and a sister, Helen Burnett. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley and Pastor Randy Carnes officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
