Dustin Alan Halley

Dustin Alan Halley, 23, of Crown City, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 21, 2009 at his home. He was born June 28, 1986 in Gallipolis, son of Terry Halley and the late Alison Daniels. He was a 2004 graduate of South Gallia High School. He was a member of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Dustin also served two honorable tours during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the United States Marine Corps. Dustin was employed by Cenergy, Milton, West Virginia. Dustin enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his family, who loves him very much. He is survived by his father, Terry Rochelle Halley of Crown City; his sister, Alicia Travis Mooney and niece, Adison Mooney, all of Crown City; his grandparents, Ross and Doris Fulks of Crown City; his uncles, Randy Debbie Halley of Gallipolis and Kevin Rhonda Halley of Crown City; an aunt, Amy Todd Sibley of Gallipolis; his great aunts, Janice Paul Stanley and Edna Halley of Crown City; and many cousins. Dustin is also survived by his former stepmother and stepbrother, Paulette Halley and Derek Taylor and special friend, Terry Cline of Crown City. Preceding him in death are his mother, Alison Daniels; his grandparents, Carl and Juanita Gay Church Halley; an uncle, Allen Fulks and a great uncle, Billy Halley. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Garland Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Brandon Coburn, Chance Ruiz, Jesse Halley, Kevin Halley, Travis Mooney, Travis Halley, Jason Halley and Derek Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Zeph Clary, Eddie Lamphier, Bernie Fulks, Luke Fulks and Mick Sibley.
