Emma E. Houck, 83, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at her residence. She was born April 16, 1927 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Joshua and Phoebe Ann Betz Myers. Emma was married to Harold Stewart, who preceded her in death in 1967 and Wendell Houck who preceded her in death in 1991. She worked at Oscars Restaurant, enjoyed walking, reading, crossword puzzles and her cats. Surviving are her three sons, Charles E. (Patty) Wolfe of Crown City, Paul D. (Evie) Wolfe of New Richmond, Ohio,Eddie L. Wolfe of Gallipolis; a daughter, Stephanie (Mitch) Salyers of Patriot; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Day, Betty Massie and Nancy Myers, all of Gallipolis; one brother, Osey Myers of White Pigeon, Michigan. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Harold Stewart and Wendell Houck, a son Donnie Wolfe, three sisters Lena Martin, Mae McGuire and Mildred Smith and a brother Raymond Myers. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor David Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in Patriot Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Cemetery: Patriot Cemetery Visitation: Willis Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 6-8 p.m. Service: Willis Funeral Home, Thursday, January 27, 2011 1:00 p.m.
