Erma Barcus Adkins

Erma Barcus Adkins of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at her daughter Sharon and son-in-law Scott Howell’s residence in Bidwell, Ohio. Born in Gallia County, Ohio, Erma was the daughter of the late James Harold and Iva Eblin Barcus. Erma had worked in food service at Holzer Medical Center and was a cashier at Big Bear. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Erma is survived by her daughters, Sue Casey of Bidwell, Judy Roher of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Linda Viddish of Venice, Florida, and Sharon (Scott) Howell of Bidwell; five grandchildren, Bradley Casey, Christina Brackett, Margo Smith, Michelle Burns, and Gabriel Davis; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Erma was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Queen; sons, Charles A. Queen, Jr. and Timothy Brent Queen; sisters, Violet Lloyd, Margaret Cromlish, and Alma Martin; and brother, Melvin Barcus. A graveside service for Erma will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Mound Hill Cemetery with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Willis Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
