Eva Lou Caldwell Casto

Eva Lou Casto, 93, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, following a short illness on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Eva Lou was born on November 18, 1927 in Mercerville, Ohio, daughter of the late Emmett and Gladys Bevan Caldwell. Eva Lou was united in marriage on August 10, 1946 to Earl E. Casto and they were blessed with one child Susan Casto Casey, who survives in Gallipolis. Also surviving are a grandson, Charles E. (Mary) Casey; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Lauren, and Colin Casey; and numerous nieces and nephews, who loved Aunt Eva and Uncle Earl as second parents. In addition to her parents, Eva Lou was preceded in death by her husband Earl in 2009; a brother, Robert Caldwell, and sisters, Estelle Caddell, Anna Lee Varney, Emogene Sanders, and Iva Nell Lambert Perry. A Graveside Service for Eva Lou will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Willis Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
