Evelyn K. Sisson

Evelyn K. Sisson, 80, of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born March 30, 1933 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Kenneth Swisher and Alice Mae Kail Swisher. Evelyn was married to Richard John Sisson and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1994. She graduated from Cheshire High School with the Class of 1951. She was a homemaker, member of Grace United Methodist Church, Elizabeth Circle, the Kitchen Committee and the Canasta Club. Surviving are her daughters, Kristy Woodall and Annette (Jim) Clark, both of Gallipolis; a son, Jeffrey Blazer of Gallipolis; four grandchildren, Jacob (Shelley) Blazer of Jackson, Colin and Kyle Woodall of Gallipolis, and Ashley (Justin) Bell of Gallipolis; four great grandchildren, Elizabeth Blazer, Carter and Cole Berry and Connor Bell; three brothers, Edmund (Lou) Swisher and Carlos (Pat) Swisher, both of Gallipolis and Paul Swisher of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
