Frances M. Tucker, 76, of Cheshire, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Holzer Senior Care Center. She was born February 22, 1935 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, daughter of the late James Nelson and Belva Haynes Campbell. Frances was a former employee of Kanauga Drive In, Style Center and G.C. Murphys. She enjoyed fishing, yard work and taking care of her family. Frances enjoyed all her grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely. She selflessly dedicated her life to making life better for others always putting others before herself. Surviving are three daughters, Loralee (John) Carmichael of Bidwell, Diana D. (Tom) Wolfe of Belpre, and Cathy J. Tucker of Gallipolis; a son, Brian (Cindy) Tucker of Cheshire; a stepson, James Riley (Jackie) Vance of Vinton; four grandchildren, Renee (Scott) Seidel of Gallipolis, Rette (Chris) Roettker of Bidwell, Jessica (Joe) Stanley of Cheshire, Tommy Wolfe of Parkersburg, West Virginia; two step granddaughters, Helen Smith of Vinton and Angie (Mike) Holley of Bidwell; four great grandchildren, Ayden, Peyton, Connor and Ethan; four step great grandchildren, Austin, Paisley, Zach and Gage; two brothers, Jerry (Jinette) Campbell of Bucyrus and Dennis Campbell of Marion; two sisters, Luverna (Ron) Rossington of Bucyrus and Patsy (Bus) Gardner of Nevada, Ohio. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James L. Tucker, her second husband Sid Vance, and two sisters Emma Gay Davis and Irene Campbell. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Zach Harris, Greg Hill, Billy Beckner, Joe Rife, Phil Davis and Gary Tenney.
