Franklin E. Mcguire

Franklin E. McGuire, 63, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Holzer Medical Center. Frank was born on October 28, 1943 in Gallia County to the late Marvin and Edith Taylor McGuire. He was a retired school bus driver for the Gallia County Local School District, a dedicated coon hunter who loved his dogs. Frank also enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. Frank is survived by his wife, Vicki Adkins McGuire whom he married on October 3, 1965 in Clintwood, VA, daughters, Rosena David Ball of Vinton and Cathy Greg Roach of Crown City, five grandchildren, Macie, Ethan, and Issacc Moss, Caitlin and Hannah Roach, Brothers, Lonnie Darlene McGuire of Crown City, Glen Juanita McGuire of Gallipolis, and Wayne McGuire of Crown City, sisters, Hazel Spurlock of Circleville, Ohio, Dorothy James Walker of Gallipolis, Margie Earl Holley of Crown City, and Marcella Moss of Proctorville, Ohio, sisters-in-law, Rosetta McGuire of Crown City and Janice Chevalier of Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother Edith Taylor McGuire in 1973 and by his father Marvin McGuire in 1996; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Macel Adkins and Charles V. Adkins, and infant sister Brenda Kay McGuire; two brothers Norman McGuire and Ray McGuire; brothers-in-law Worthy Spurlock, Bruce Adkins, and Joe Chevalier, a niece Tammy McGuire and a nephew Ronnie Spurlock. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mercerville Cemetery.
