Freda Maxine Facemire

Freda Maxine Neal Facemire, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born on October 16, 1924 in Gallia County, Ohio daughter of the late Samuel Floyd Neal and Laura Qualls Neal. Freda was a retired daycare administrator at Toddler Tech; owner with her husband of Facemire Cab; and a member of the Good News Baptist Church. Freda was married to Orville H. Facemire on February 17, 1946 and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers Walter and Roy Neal; six sisters Nannie Skidmore, Goldie Green, Sylvia Jones, Georgia Hayes, Xylphia 'Crickett' Cray, and Thelma Drummond. Surviving are a son David A. Jan Facemire of Gallipolis, two grandchildren Shane Angela Facemire and Susan Ryan Pittman both of Gallipolis, and four great grandchildren Kaylee and Taylor Facemire, Gavin and Xander Pittman; one brother Howard Neal of Columbus, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday, June 22, 2009 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff Curry and Larry Drummond officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 5-8 pm at Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Pittman, Lyle Richards, Shelby Richards, Matt Barcus, Richard Cray and Harold Hayes.
