Gary A. Miller

Gary A. Miller, 61, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born May 29, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of James Bert Miller, who survives him and the late Pauline Atkins Miller. Gary married LaDonna J. Blankenship on June 10, 1978 in Gallipolis and she survives him. He retired from ICL Chemical Plant, Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia. He attended Apostolic Gospel Church. Gary loved to fish, going to Nascar races and attending local races. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, LaDonna Miller of Gallipolis; his father and stepmother, James Bert (Agnes) Miller of Oak Hill, West Virginia; three brothers, James (Margaret) Miller Jr. of Dothan, West Virginia, Troy N. Miller of Cottondale, Alabama, Barry (Pam) Miller of Sevierville, Tennessee; two sisters, Barbara (James) Crisco of Mooresville, North Carolina and Margaret (Edward) Honaker of Davison, North Carolina; his mother-in-law, Edna Blankenship of Gallipolis; a brother-in-law, David (Kathy) Blankenship of Gallipolis; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Russell of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor David Chrisam officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.
