Gary L. Barry

Gary L. Barry, 59, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born April 28, 1954 at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C., son of the late John Vernon Barry and Eleanor Vaccaro Rodgers. Gary was a self employed/business owner in fire and water restoration, Special Care Drycleaners. Surviving are a son, Mark A. Barry of Gallipolis; a brother, Dean (Vicky) Barry of Charlotte, North Carolina; his girlfriend, Vicki Ellis of Gallipolis; another brother and sister, Paul Burgess of Virginia and Vickie Burgess; two half sisters, Ginger Rodgers of Athens and Patricia Rodgers of Washington, D.C.; two half brothers, William Rodgers of Washington, D.C. and John Dempsey of Maryland; a niece, Allison Barry and a nephew, Tyler Barry, both of Gallipolis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herb and Crystal Capper. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home.
